Last updated 23 October 2026. These terms cover the Daysafe apps for iPhone and Android.
Daysafe is made by Mahmoud Almahroum, an independent developer in Ireland. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you got Daysafe from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies.
Daysafe counts the days you spend in each country, using your phone's location and what you enter yourself, and compares them with the rules you choose, such as Schengen 90/180 or a 183-day tax rule. It shows how each rule is counted.
Daysafe is not tax, immigration or legal advice. Residency and visa decisions can depend on things the app can't see, such as your home, family, income, passport and visa type, and on rules that change. A phone can miss a day or place you in the wrong country, for example near a border or when location is switched off. Check your days, fix any that are wrong, and confirm important decisions with an official source or a professional. You are responsible for the decisions you make.
The free version records your days, keeps your history and map, follows one rule and plans one trip. Daysafe Pro follows every rule, plans unlimited trips, warns you weeks ahead and exports your days.
Pro is sold by Apple on the App Store and by Google on Google Play, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel before then; the app reminds you two days before. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payments, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms.
If Pro ends, the extra rules and trips you added are kept, paused, and come back if you get Pro again.
Your days and locations stay on your phone and in your own backups. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
You may use Daysafe for your own personal purposes. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, or use it to break the law.
We work hard to count your days correctly, but the app is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be accurate or available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on the app's counts, including fines, taxes or refused entry. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law, including under Irish and EU law.
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live.
